Dear Parents/Carers

This half term has continued to be a busy one with lots going on across both Kingfisher and Halcyon Way schools. We have had lots of different activities going on to support the children with their  learning and enrich our curriculum offer.

World Book Day is always a popular event and this year was no exception. Staff entered into the spirit of the day and were very competitive. We had some amazing book characters from both staff and children – thank you to everyone who joined in!

To support Red Nose Day there were lots of children and staff dressed in red, pyjamas or just their own clothes and red noses. The schools were very colourful for the day for a very worthy cause.

During Languages and Cultural Day this half term we visited India and learnt about their culture.

This week we have had a visit from the Easter Bunny and have been selling lots of raffle tickets for our Great Easter Raffle with lots of chocolate to be won!! Thank you to all families who donated prizes for this and well done to those families who won.

I would like to wish everybody a very happy Easter and hope that the weather improves over the holidays. We look forward to welcoming the children back into school on Monday 15th April.

Please add to your diaries that both schools will be closed on Friday 3rd May (staff training day) and Monday 6thMay (Bank Holiday).
